Airlines are complicit in using their almost autonomous powers, to screw over their passengers!
When you purchase a seat on a plane, you are reasonably assured to be placed into an almost "cattle-car" situation. Most military people will know of what I am speaking here. In other words: they cram us into a tight and uncomfortable space, leaving us no choice other than to take it, or leave it! Bull***t, if you ask me!
A national boycott of airlines for one week, should bring a serious change to some of these goings-on. but you know what? Most people are too hung up on being comfortable, and arriving as quickly as possible, to demand that they at least get some human treatment.
"Faster is better!"; is a bunch of bull! Take few seats out of the freaking planes, and add some wider and more comfortable seating! I am no expert, but I do know that the seats are measurably less wide than they used to be, and this is unconscionable, considering the prices of tickets, and the numbers of passengers they have on a daily basis.
I'm not finished with this: we as a consumers, have more power than we seemingly realize.
The "Friendly Skies", seem a lot less so lately.
