Welcome to the Wednesday Coffee Hour here at Street Prophets. This is an open thread where we can talk about what's going on in our worlds.
Everyone is welcome to discuss all topics of conversation, to post photos, and answer that eternal question: "What's for supper tonight?"
This has been an incredibly busy spring. Even though I only post one diary per month, I haven't even had the time to think about what to write this month. I haven't taken very many pictures lately either. It's a shame I didn't take more pictures because we've had an exceptionally beautiful spring. The pictures below are just a few that I took of the tulips as they were blooming.
The new dog is settling in well. He was pretty traumatized when he first arrived. He was still on antibiotics and healing from some extensive dental surgery. But his scars are slowly going away and his personality is shining through more and more every day. I just adore him -- he cracks me up when he runs around in the back yard. Instead of running around like a normal dog, he sort of skips. It's hilarious to watch. It's hard to believe he's 13 years old. They say old dogs can't learn new tricks but the cats have taught this one how to sleep on the back of the couch. I had to get a picture of that, of course.
The only thing better than a puppy is a dog and the only thing better than a dog is an old dog.
According to our much missed BlueJessamine, it's Booby Wednesday and this is a Public Service Announcement: Self exams can save lives!
