"Oh god. Here comes Miss 'oh so pretty' with those boobs. She's always flaunting them!"
"I hate that guy Max. He only looks great in that suit because he's in the gym so much. Go away Ken Doll!"
"Ugh. Women like her give all women a bad name. She's probably dumb and empty inside. Nobody likes you little miss perfect!"
"Oh you're one of those GQ pretty guys. I bet you don't know how to use a hammer or drink beer."
The indignities suffered by the beautiful are many, beauty shaming being one of the most hurtful. What happens when you're cursed with great skin, natural symmetry, an amazing body and great hair? Suffering, that's what. Or even if you try and do what you think is a bit of self-improvement, can turn out to be an opportunity for average looking people to bully the beautiful.
Its time we stopped bullying the attractive. Enough!
Just because you see someone who, either by genes or by effort, grabs your attention and has your libido subconsciously going 'hubba hubba' does not mean to resent and bully them because of it. You might think its easy having a great bod and alluring eyes, but it isn't. Its difficult. In some way. I think.
The point is just because some people are beautiful doesn't mean the mediocre looking get to be rude and hurtful. Yes, it is quite true that they probably are confident enough to stand up for themselves (as everyone should be) and therefore a few snide remarks probably won't affect them at all (like everyone should be). All bullying of the attractive should stop.
